Part of The Forestry Commission, Forest Research have worked with us on the Torbay pilot and the Victoria project. We have also worked with Forest Research on their Edinburgh, Glasgow, and Wrexham projects. We continue to work together developing i-Tree for the UK including collaborating on establishing UK growth rates and quantifying other tree benefits.

Natural England

An independent public body whose purpose is to protect and improve England’s natural environment and encourage people to enjoy and get involved in their surroundings. Natural England kindly supported the Torbay pilot project and we have continued to work together on a scientific paper exploring the cost benefit ratio’s of Torbay’s trees.

Trees and Design Action Group

The Trees and Design Action Group (TDAG) is an open collaborative forum facilitating cross-sector and cross-disciplinary dialogue and projects promoting the role of the urban forest throughout the United Kingdom.  The group shares the collective vision that the location of trees, and all the benefits they bring, can be secured for future generations through better collaboration in the planning, design, construction and management of our urban infrastructure and spaces.

Treezilla

Treezilla has the ambitious goal of mapping every tree in Britain. We are currently working with the Open University and Forest Research on the Treezilla project which involves an online open source tool to map trees and calculate benefits.
